Following the successful completion of the Siroch Bahrom project, the client selected our team again to deliver the PS “Chomi” 115kV substation project.
Building on lessons learned from the previous project, the solution was further refined through optimized engineering and equipment selection. A more compact substation layout was adopted to improve space utilization, while a higher proportion of locally sourced equipment was incorporated where appropriate to help control project investment without compromising required performance or reliability.
Throughout execution, the project was managed under a structured schedule-control and quality-assurance process, supporting completion within the contractual delivery period.
After commissioning, the PS “Chomi” substation became part of a ring-network power supply arrangement with the existing grid. This strengthens supply reliability, improves operational flexibility, and enhances the resilience of the electricity network serving Dushanbe and surrounding areas of Tajikistan.
